Front and Centered was nominated for an award from Sustainable Seattle in the category of Government, Non-Profit and Community Organizations – Collaboration. In a Oscar night-like award announcement, Front and Centered was chosen from among five very worthy finalists, including the City of Seattle’s Equity and Environment Initiative. The 2016 Leadership Award night recognized the accomplishments of outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses in the region for advancements in sustainability over the prior year. They demonstrate the breadth of work making our region a model in sustainability.
A few of the many people who contributed to our work were at the event to receive the recognition, including leaders from United Indians of All Tribes Foundation, Puget Sound Sage and Got Green?. Many thanks to Sustainable Seattle Board Chair Dave Woolley-Wilson also pictured here, who delivered the award.
