Earth Deserves More than A Day
Because EJ is every day.
Brought to You by Our Coalition of Frontline Communities
For Earth Deserves More Than a Day in 2023, Front and Centered partnered with Rainier Avenue Radio and Social Justice Film Festival a second time to present a week-long program of events.
The 2023 program highlighted our coalition members’ commitment to climate justice. Folks joined us throughout an exciting week of both in-person and virtual events showcasing the local and global efforts of our frontline communities to defend and honor Mother Earth, including:
- social justice films;
- radio interviews;
- kitchen table conversations with the community featuring;
- live and virtual panel discussions; and
- a multimedia exhibit at the theater.
We ended the week with a community mixer and film showing, where attendees were given an update on our 2023 legislative agenda as well as a preview of various Earth Day events happening across the state.
