Building a Movement for a Just Transition in Washington!
Our coalition is unique and powerful because of the diversity and reach of community member voices that guide us. It’s through these voices that we can share knowledge, highlight experiences, ground ourselves in equality, express our joy, and stand together while we work toward healthy, thriving communities. (Learn more about our community leadership.)
Coalition members influence our advocacy, inspire our action, and connect us to the frontlines of change in Washington State’s communities of color and people with lower incomes. Together, we are building power and expertise rooted in solidarity, and advancing a Just Transition at the intersection of equity and environmental and climate justice.

Member Spotlight

The ACLT's work embodies a core Front and Centered strategy of returning community connection to place. The ACLT employs a land trust model where a buyer can purchase a house below market rate so long as they also sell at below market rate to make the home affordable to the next buyer. The ACLT also informs the community about ways to keep or diversify their properties. These efforts aim to make home ownership accessible to communities of color and resist gentrification.
